This week we had the doctor´s consultation with some shortlisted residents, One of the residents had his vousikontrolli, this is a yearly examination and evaluation of care. Prior to this, various specimen such as blood and urine had been collected and examined, the results of these is then discussed in the consultation to determine the best line of care. A prostate examination was also done and I was able to observe this procedure.
I was able to collect the venous blood sample of a resident who was scheduled for her vuosikontrolli next week under the guidance and supervision of my mentor nurse, the result of this will be discussed in her doctor`s appointment next week.
