This week I was more intentional about improving my medication skills. After the discussion with my mentors during the mid-internship evaluation, I realized that I need to practice more safe medication administration. I did that by ensuring proper hand hygiene before handling of medication, confirming the names on the medicine pouch from the residents for those that are able to remember,; even though I already know their names, proper disposal of medicine pouch to ensure the privacy of the residents.
I also was involved in the planning and execution of rehabilitative exercises for the residents like indoor games and short walks outside the building as the weather permit.
