My internship has been going on smoothly and so far, I have been able to achieve some of my set goals in terms of being able to document more because in my previous internship, I was only able to document in a limited way due to the language barrier.
I am also working on my nurse-patient relationship as mental health nursing requires a lot of time with patients and clients. I was able to have one-on-one interactions with patients with the guidance of my mentor, In my interactions, I ensured I respected their personalities and preferences and also treated them in a dignified way. Also, I ensure the procedures I perform are evidence-based and are backed up by research.
