I was able to orientate my preceptor about the things expected of me from the school and my learning goals during this internship period in order to consider it acceptable and also, my preceptor gave me a thorough orientation of the work environment which is very important if I want to have a successful internship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We had a neuro-surgery where cancerous tissue was removed from the brain though I did more of observatory work, observing the different roles of the nurses in the operating room.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This first week of internship was rather an orientation week for both me and my preceptor.
