After the procedure, I asked for feedback from my mentor nurse and she informed me that I did well considering it was my first time. she also asked me why I was scared at first, I told her I was afraid of mixing up the instruments or not knowing what instrument to give if requested, she told me it&#8217;s normal to be scared and that was why she was there to guide me, also, the surgical instruments can seem overwhelming at first but I can learn a particular set of instruments at a time in order to get familiar with them.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This week has been quite challenging and at the same time fulfilling for me as I was able to work in the different nurses&#8217; role in the operating room.
