It&#8217;s easiest to\u00a0do assignments in that order. In first section (<a title=\"ORIENTATION\" href=\"https:\/\/blogi.savonia.fi\/dwe2016\/sample-page\/\">Build a blog<\/a>), you will build your own blog\/web site by using the WordPress service.\u00a0You can find instructions for that from <a title=\"ORIENTATION\" href=\"https:\/\/blogi.savonia.fi\/dwe2016\/build-a-blog\/\">Build a blog<\/a> tab above. That blog\/site will be your personal learning\u00a0environment, where you share all of the assignments with teachers, students and the whole world. For example, if you leave all of your assignments in the 9th of March, you will get grades in the 2nd of April. \u00a0<strong>Attention! <\/strong>The grades are always transferred directly <strong>to the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><a href=\"https:\/\/opintopolku.fi\/konfo\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">opintopolku.fi<\/a> <\/span><\/strong>service<strong>.<\/strong> You can find them always there.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Objectives of the course<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Student is able to describe how digital working environment has developed (local to global), what is the meaning of digitalisation in a her\/his working area\/field and what are the future trends.<\/li>\n<li>Student recognises the benefits and obstacles of digital change.<\/li>\n<li>Student is able to choose digital tools which support her\/his own working field.<\/li>\n<li>Student is able to recognize changes and describe internet accessible working environment, which facilitates collective action, communication and networking<\/li>\n<li>Student knows principles of safe information sharing and has adequate information management skills<\/li>\n<li>Student can coordinate distant work, group working and can participate in discussion forums<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Contents of the course<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>basis of international and national information society policies<\/li>\n<li>digitalised working environment permitting the completion of virtual participatory processes<\/li>\n<li>key factors related to the success of digitalised working processes<\/li>\n<li>main deficiencies of digitalised working environment<\/li>\n<li>future trends in digitalised working life in student\u2019s own professional field<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Evaluation of the course<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>all the assignments must be passed to get the grade<\/li>\n<li>Student shows via her\/his reports that she\/he\n<ul>\n<li>understands elements of digitalized working life,<\/li>\n<li>recognizes and evaluates the benefits and obstacles of digital change,<\/li>\n<li>knows and utilizes current social media.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Student shares her\/his experiences within group.<\/li>\n<li>All three reported assignments should have a short\u00a0<strong>self evaluation<\/strong>\u00a0part \u2013 what you have learned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<p>\u2013<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The curriculum for Savonia&#8217;s interdisciplinary studies will be renewed as of August 1, 2025. The course started during the academic year 2024\/2025 must be completed by the last return date of the course July 31st, 2025.
