Digital tools what I use in my work include the patient record system Acute, Nispa callback system, Microsoft Office 365 and Populus.
ACUTE
The browser-based Acute delivered with SaaS application leasing is an easy-to-use, secure and Kanta-certified patient information system. Acute is designed to make the daily work of healthcare professionals easier. Vitec as an information system provider is responsible for software development, version updates, information security, customer support and server space.
NISPA CALLBACK SYSTEM
All calls handled in the assessment of the need for treatment are handled using Nispa. All information about the call is registered in the system (time spent on the call, times of day, causal code for the call and the process of the call).
MICROSOFT OFFICE 365 (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
- With Power Point, for example, I make meeting templates and use this to create different guidelines.
- In Excel, you can make a lot of different graphic descriptions, for example, to describe the amount of work done. Making tables, where you need to see figures in real time, can also be done well with Excel.
- Word is perhaps the least I use in my work, sometimes for writing something I might take advantage of this.
- I have Teams open all the time and communicate with the work community all the time through Teams. E-mail is also actively open throughout the working day.
POPULUS
Populus is used to mark working hours, apply for trainings and holidays.
Five new apps
I chose the new apps above based on those that would have real use potential in my work and seemed like reliable working platforms. The elements of successful use of a digital application are ease of use, accessibility and its suitability for the purpose of use.
ASANA
I could use this service to plan and manage various projects. Especially as a team coordinator or supervisor, the service would seem worth a try.
JODEL
I could use Jodel to get information from, for example, users of student health care services on how users share tips with each other. I have never used this app, but I have heard of this.
YOUTUBE
You can also find reliable videos on Youtube that can be used in patient work, for example, to support guidance.
VIMEO
Vimeo could be used to create new video materials for customers or in the work community for training purposes.
MIRO
I could use Miro for organization in teamwork.
SELF-EVALUVATION
In this section, I learned several different services that I could use in my work and free time in different projects in the future.
This course has been instructive. I believe that it will be useful for me in the future working life to learn how to use WordPress in this course. During the course, we got to know several different solutions and perspectives of digitalization. It has been particularly interesting to read about the experiences of digitalization in the blog posts of employees in other fields.
Studying in English is a challenge for me, which I now took on and got to develop reading and writing text in English. I wish it was clear from my text and that I had been able to write the things I meant correctly. I understand English better when listened to.
