About Me

I’m Hannamari Anttonen, a Registered Nurse currently working in home care in Pieksämäki. Over the years, I’ve gained diverse experience in the healthcare sector from hands-on nursing work to supervisory and team leadership roles, as well as rehabilitation coordination.

At the moment, I’m also finalizing my Master’s degree in Health Care (Rehabilitation) at Savonia University of Applied Sciences. Through my studies, I’ve deepened my understanding of strategic development, Lean thinking, and service innovation in healthcare. My thesis focuses on how Lean methods can be used to support and streamline rehabilitation processes.

Previously, I’ve worked at places such as Vaalijala, where I spent several years in different nursing and coordination roles. I’ve also held positions as an acting supervisor and team leader at Hoiva Joutsen Oy and Esperi. Most recently, before returning to practical nursing this summer, I worked as a Planner-Teacher at STEP Education, which gave me valuable insight into adult education and collaboration with different organizations.

In addition to my nursing work and studies, I’m also involved in Radio Solex, where I manage social media and occasionally do radio hosting and sound work, a fun creative outlet alongside my professional life.

Outside of work, I balance life with my three children (ages 10, 12, and 20), and I’m passionate about well-being and physical activity. One of my favorite hobbies is CrossFit, which gives me both energy and a sense of community.

I’m driven by a genuine desire to develop healthcare services and improve everyday life for both clients and professionals. I believe that digital tools, Lean thinking, and human-centered care can all work hand in hand.
