My mentors, the leader of the unit and team, gave me a full orientation that covered safety regulations, fire procedures, and ward protocols. They still help me navigate these areas. Together with my mentor, I created plans by establishing the internship&#8217;s aims and objectives. I am somewhat familiar with the unit because I had visited it previously for gig work.<br><br>By speaking with patients and staff, I&#8217;ve learned a lot about them and have come to understand the value of cooperation and open communication, particularly for safety when navigating the unit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The documentation techniques are in Finnish (NAPPULA), which are difficult but get better with practice, were also presented to me by my mentors. As I concentrate on my designated patient, I&#8217;m improving my writing skills. I used Pegasus for all my documentation in the past, but now I&#8217;m enjoying using Nappula.<br><br>Finally, I&#8217;ve begun studying the fundamentals of medications at the unit I and am eager to learn more.
