The mid evaluation assessment was summary of my performance in the first two weeks at the internship. I started the week working on my goals as planned earlier, therefore, I took blood samples from patients with the help of my mentors, working more aseptically, ergonomically, measuring blood pressure, checking patients glucose level and taking care of patients in general. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the third week, there was a mid evaluation meeting between my mentor and teacher via zoom. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss my progress and challenges related to my goals and areas i need to develop and improve in the next coming weeks. We talked about the areas I have done so far and the aspect that needs to be developed such as making clearer plans at the start of new week, documentation, nursing care plan and process, symptoms for pain patients, asking questions and feedback from mentor. Therefore, after the meeting, i discussed with my mentor personally on the suggested part I need to improve on and how to execute all these aspects before the end of the internship. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
