STEP 1
My dream is three years away in expert positions, where I can work on interesting projects. I feel more interested in managing projects. Necessarily I am not very interested in managerial work and managing people, although I like to work as part of a team.
One concrete way to understand one’s own weaknesses and to improve them is to have a genuine conversation with colleagues, subordinates and one’s superiors and strive to get as honest feedback as possible.
STEP 2
An expert in an organization, an important characteristic for managers is strong competence in technical matters, as well as commercial matters. If the manager does not know things well enough on a practical level, he will not be able to lead the organization credibly.
The manager’s social and good leadership skills also have a lot of influence on how employees can develop in their work and be as efficient as possible in their daily tasks. Leadership skills also play a role in how employees commit to their own organization and their work
STEP 3
A three-year plan for developing your own management. The focus of the first year is discovering one’s own strengths and weaknesses. Naturally, we should pay more attention to weaknesses, and think about solutions, how I can develop my own skills regarding weaknesses.
