KELA, OmaKanta and Ilmarinen
KELA, the Social Insurance Institution of Finland, don´t be part of my life nowdays. However, I have often received help from KELA during my studies: student aid and housing support. My little sister has received the same benefits. When I graduated from high school, I moved to England for a couple of months. Then I got a European health care card. It was very easy. KELA sends a new card automatically when the old one becomes old.
OmaKanta service is very good and helps me with my medical history and new appointments etc. It is easy to use with my bank code identification. I can use the service wherever I go and it´s a good thing.
I checked from Ilmarinen´s online service how much I will get pension if I retire at 63 or 68 years. My pension matters are taken care of by Varma so Ilmarinen adviced me to log in to Varma´s website. My earliest pension age is 68 years and two months and the latest 70 years. I don´t want to share my information but if I will work a few years longer, will my pension increases by a few hundred.
Digital shop: Booking.com
I use several online shops almost weekly. Online shopping save time and money because I can surfing and find the best prices. I like a lot of travelling so booking.com is similar online shop for me. I think it´s easy to use and often found I the cheapest trip via this site. When I open the site there is options of trip right away. I like that. Bonus system is also fair for registered customers. In my opinion site seems reliable but I visit also hotel´s own website and check informations.
My own field: OptiExpert
I have used OptiExpert since I studied. It´s Cooper Vision´s app of contact lenses. There I find for example which lenses are the best for my customer. There is also contact lens prescription calculator because the strengths are not the same than spectacles. With this app can check things quickly.
Digitalization and digital gap
Digitalization is a good thing and helps me with different things daily. Many things are so easy to take care of from the sofa at home. Still there is a lot of people who can´t use any digital services alone. For example elderly need help with bank code identification very often and almost every service requires their use. At work we come across this problem often. There is a risk of being left out. I think it is a good to teach people more digital skills. The world is becoming more and more digital all the time.

Thoughts
The topic was interesting but I didn´t learn much of a new things. All pages are used before. All digital services have changed during my life so they are familiar. I will follow with interest where the world goes.
