{"id":45,"date":"2022-04-01T09:35:58","date_gmt":"2022-04-01T06:35:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogi.savonia.fi\/kingsleyaliche\/?page_id=45"},"modified":"2023-01-26T13:32:21","modified_gmt":"2023-01-26T11:32:21","slug":"mid-internship","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogi.savonia.fi\/kingsleyaliche\/esimerkkisivu\/medical-internship\/mid-internship\/","title":{"rendered":"Mid Evaluation"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Learning Competence<\/strong>: Clinical practice has progressed well and communication with mentor nurse has been great.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How I attained my goal:<\/strong>\u00a0I can say at this moment, that i have been able to work independently under supervision of my mentor nurse, asking for feedback on a daily basis and asking about different skills has made it much better and efficient in progressing during the internship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ethical Knowledge and Professionalism:<\/strong>\u00a0Ethically and professional competence knowledge is getting better, as i follow what has been taught at the university and how my mentor\/Tutor nurse also handles several situations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Clinical Competence<\/strong>: My progress in clinical competence has also improved, as i can identify basic needs of clients nutritional and daily routine. preparation of clients medeication has also made me more aware of different medication used in the field of cancer. Assisting in the daily routine checklist like NEWS, WEIGHT and also been able to work aseptically. The understanding of cancer and its treatments, which also includes pain medication, nausea medication and also chemotherapy treatment has been eyes opening on how vital this is in my Osasto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I have also assisted under supervision of my mentor nurse to give medication and also arrange the medication of each client, also working with the pharmacist as well was one clinical experience i have greatly appreciated especially in the avoidance of mistakes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My relationship with other colleagues is quite cordial, as they are willing to help me grow as much as i want and they assist me when i ask for help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Goals for remaining week<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Kanyyli insertion more regurlarly<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>communication in Finnish with other working staff<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Independent working<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>How to achieve this<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By making myself available whenever needed or open to all task assigned to me<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Learning Competence: Clinical practice has progressed well and communication with mentor nurse has been great.
