I’m a healthcare professional with a passion for both patient care and medical research. I started my journey in the field of nursing after graduating from Savonia University of Applied Sciences in 2011 and have been working at the Intensive Care Department at Kuopio University Hospital ever since. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working as a Registered Nurse, and more recently as a Study Nurse and Organ Donor Coordinator. I love the challenge of balancing patient care with research, especially in projects like the EPO-TRAUMA and STEPCARE studies.I’ve also explored healthcare from a different angle, working part-time as a Quality Assurance Tester for GE Healthcare, where I helped ensure the quality of medical technology. Currently, I’m studying for a master’s degree in Digital Expertise in Social and Health Care Services, aiming to combine my clinical experience with digital innovations to improve healthcare practices.
