KELA<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

First, I have to say that KELA\u2019s websites are much clearly than before. It\u2019s easier to find information and it\u2019s great to notice that there are accessibility statements and also the plain language site. KELA is the Social Insurance Institution of Finland. I\u2019ve had first Kela\u2019s services when my parent died, and I got the orphan\u2019s pension. The orphan’s pension is a pension that is paid to a child aged under 18 years if his or her parent dies. When I started my studies, KELA has paid to me school transport subsidy, student financial aid and housing allowance. Today, for my studies, I have meal subsidy. Also, today Kela pays to my children child benefits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I think it\u2019s important to keep KELA\u2019s services in Finland, because there will be always people, who need it a lot. It makes easier to find everything benefits which people are justified, if websites are plain and informative. I think KELA has made a great improvement with websites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

European Health Insurance Card<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have already European Health Insurance Card and I find easily instructions to get one from the websites if I must to get it to my relative for example.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

OmaKanta\/MyKanta<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you are logging in to Omakanta, nowadays it\u2019s very important to check, that the website address is correct https:\/\/www.kanta.fi\/.<\/a> There are plenty of try-ons to get citizens bank ID\u2019s in wrong and very similar websites. In English Omakanta is by name MyKanta and english services address is https:\/\/www.kanta.fi\/en\/mykanta<\/a>. You need online banking code, a mobile certificate or an electronic ID-card to get inside to the platform. In MyKanta citizens will find all public and private health care data in one place and viewed at the time 24\/7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Keva<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Keva is s an independent body governed by public law. They ensure wellbeing by safeguarding the livelihood of public-sector employees during their retirement. I logged in to Keva\u2019s services and noticed that I can\u2019t retire at 63 years old. My lowest age to retire is 67,5 years old. Then I will get pension 2 727,81 \u20ac\/month.  If I retire at 70 years, I will get pension 3223,13 e\/month. It\u2019s horrible to think that my lowest age to retire is almost 70 years old! How can I enjoy my retire days healthy and happy, not too much frailty? And the scariest part is, the lowest age to retire is not confirm, it can be higher. Will I be 75-year-old nurse, who is taking care of patients in wheelchair? Oh my, this was a good wake up call to live my life now, not then!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Judgment about Temu<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because this assignment, I visited in the Temu Online Shop-pages. I have always avoided to shop from Temu, because they have an obscure reputation with productions. I don’t believe that much cheap stuff can be product without the nature won\u2019t suffer of it. I visit the page and I still keep my mind that large amount of stuff can\u2019t be prepared in ethical and sustainable climate way. Horrible shop, how women\u2019s shoes can pay 0,16 e? I don\u2019t appreciate that finnish journal page Iltasanomat will boost Temu\u2019s advertisement in their application and websites. Is this the place where money talks, not our environment and the main, our home, the Earth?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Healtwillage.fi service<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I like to introduce a Finnish public online service healhtwillage.fi. It\u2019s a service developed by Finnish university hospitals. Everyone, like patients to healthcare professionals, can utilize its information and support. Why did I choose this service? At my work, I have developed a Digital care pathway-service. It was quite many-sided and big project and teach a lot about building digital platform in the healthcare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a healthcare professional, it\u2019s always good to show to citizen the place where they can find reliable information about illness and health. Page https:\/\/www.terveyskyla.fi\/<\/a> is a one good site to investigate and learn about some health issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Digital divide and a digital gap<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today worldwide there is still 2,6 billion people without internet access (Vestberg 2024) and in the Finland we have small percentage of population without digital skills. In Finland 79% of adult population have at least basic digital skills (Digi- ja v\u00e4est\u00f6virasto 2023, 9). In society, we need to remember that authorities\u2019 tasks are to teach and guide citizens. We must continuously promote digital knowledge and try actively reducing the lack of the digital skills in citizens. Major risk is that those people, who don\u2019t have for example access to the internet, won\u2019t have any information or guide. So as long as we have digital cap, we have to offer \u201ctraditional\u201d face to face service in our society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Self reflection<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I think my Digital competence test shows quite right results of my digital competence. I see that as a healthcare professional, I have strong area in safety section, especially in the law and the data protection areas. It\u2019s good because of the sensitive patient information and of course in my own personal life. Test results shows in the blue production area there is the lowest percentages of the competence. If I like to, it would be great to study more about automation for example.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This assignment helped me to see that I have quite nice knowledge about how to use different kinds of digital platforms and services. I have noticed that it\u2019s easy to me to get familiar with some new platform. But it\u2019s important to remember act secure way and understand that digital communication needs practice. You must write in the right and straight way to person, who receive the message,that he\/she won\u2019t understand it wrong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
