DIGITAL TOOLS IN MY WORK

The elements of successful use of a digital application are ease of use, accessibility and its suitability for the purpose of use.

OMNI 360

In my work, I use the OMNI360 patient information system, where I save important information related to the client’s care and read others’ records about the client’s care.

TEAMS

With the corona pandemic, the practice of organizing the monthly meetings of nurses via tems became established. There is a large group of us nurses, so Teams makes it easier to organize a meeting. You don’t have to spend your work time driving and looking for a parking space. All necessary files and instructions are also saved in Teams.

YOUTUBE

I could use YouTube even more in my work, for example to watch educational videos. I could also teach team members new things with the help of YouTube videos. Youtube is easy to use, but you should know how to choose reliable videos.

VIMEO

In addition to YouTube, I could also train team members using Vimeo. Vimeo is a tool desinged for emlovee communication. It can be used for management briefings, team orientation and training, and asynchronous collaboration. Whit Vimeo, you can easily create videos that you can use to provide emplyees whit consistent, skills-based training. They could have a real imbact on their professional growth. Complete in badly needed in home care, because people who are even in worse health are cared for at home.

Our industry needs creators and there is a crying shortage of them. In image og our industry should be raised. Whit Vimeo, we could acquire new emplyees quigly whit engaging induction videos.

INSTAGRAM AND FACEBOOK

The image of home care could be raised even more with the help of Instagram and Facebook. We could highlight the good aspects of our work even more and ecen publish, whit the client´s premission, their of the tratment they receeived. These applications would be the best way to reach new employees and raise the image of home care.

However, anyone can comment on publications, so we could not know what kind of comments would be shared on social media. Howevet, care should be taken to keep the discurssuin relevant by folowing the comments.

MURAL

This program could be used with a team enthusiastic about developing our work.
Mural is a virtual workspace that enables remote collaboration with an easy visual user interface. Thanks to Murali, teams can come up whit new ideas and promote ongoing projects. The app has brainstorming, whitch is better thand mind mab. Whit it, we could come up whit ideas usin virtual post it notes. In this way, we could also save nature.

SELF EVALUATION

This assignment thaugt me that in my work I could use several digital tools to develop my work. Many tools would support learning. I notice that while doing this task, my thoughts were more on the development of the work than on the actual work of a nurse that I do. However, I feel that the development of work would be of primary importance today, so that our elderly people could do well at home. Maybe in the future I will be able to do more work where I can influence development.
