I work in home care as a nurse and in my work I use many digital applications every day that are designed to be suitable for this work and purpose. The OMNI360 and PEGASOS program's are a patient information system where I record patient and customer health information and review documents and notes made by others. The OMNI 360 system is an add-on to the Pegasos system. I also record in these programs summaries of the nursing work and interim evaluations of the client, which also end up in the Kanta-service. Onmi also contains important information for the work of a home nurse, i.e. the medication section. During the working day, I also use the Hilkka system a lot. Hilkka is an enterprise recourse planning system that is said to enable up-to-date management of services, home visits, customer information and invoicing in home care. In Hilkka, I plan and record, among other things, visits to the customer's home. In Hilkka, I can also record observations made about the customer, which are logged directly into Pegasos. Teams is used a lot at my workplace. The use of Teams is one of the good changes and practices brought about by the corona pandemic in the work community. With Teams, phone, chat, video and online meetings can be handled so that you don't have to drive and be physically present at, for example, a joint meeting of home nurses. I also use Outlook e-mail every day, and various applications on the intranet Pulssi.
I could try and utilize these five new social media tools in my daily work at my workplace:
YouTube and TikTok

I use YouTube a little at home, but I've been thinking that I could film and publish there, for example, care instructions needed for home care work. The same applies to the use of TikTok. In Tiktok, you could create short educational videos for use in home care. I'm a little unsure about its use because of Tiktok's security issues.
Facebook and Instagram

My workplace does not have a Facebook home page yet, but one could work well, for example, as a presentation of the workplace and as an increase in attractiveness or to attract employees to apply for jobs in home care.Interesting homepages with nice pictures could also increase the appreciation of the industry.
Facebook or Instagram could be a channel where, with the customer's consent, we could also publish feedback on the service received by customer. I have personal Facebook and Instagram accounts and I'm reasonably good at using these.

Twitter:
Twitter is a social media channel where you can discuss current issues or share experiences with like-minded people. We could highlight home care services and create a more positive image of them for the consumer and of course bring up your own topics there.

Self evaluation:
I think I'm a skilled user of social media on Facebook and Instagram, which I could also try at work. I don't know anything about using TikTok or Twitter, but isn't that something that can be learned, too?
