KELA

Source: www.kela.fi

The Social Insurance Institution is a state institution that takes care of the basic security of people living in Finland in various life situations. I have a Kela hate love relationship. There you can get a lot of different subsidies and e.g. rehabilitations, but the flow of information, for example, is sometimes very challenging. As I have children, we receive a monthly child allowance from Kela.I also have a special need child, so we have applied from Kela for e.g. occupational therapy, adaptation training course and other supports. We also apply for Kela e.g. travel allowances for medical travel. With the Kela card, we also receive compensation for e.g. prescription drugs. I did not have to apply for a European Health Insurance Card because I already have one.

Omakanta

Source: www.omakanta.fi

From the OmaKanta I can see my own health information/history, renew e.g. recipes. I can also print my Covid-19 vaccine pass.I also have two primary school children, for whom I can e.g. new prescriptions and view information on health care visits. Loyal services are used by public and private healthcare as well as pharmacies and possibly pharmacies in other European countries. The stock allows the data to be up-to-date in the treatment situation. The position will benefit you even if you do not use information technology yourself. The smooth flow of information in healthcare allows for better care. Kanta-services in Finland are used by public and private health care. Pharmacies also have access to it. The position allows my data to be up to date and if I have given permission, my data will also be available to a different healthcare unit. I feel that the flow of information in health care has improved with the Kanta-service. Since I have studied in the social and health care, I have also attended training related to the Kanta for social and health professionals.

Occupational pension company Varma

Source: www.varma.fi

I used Varma’s online service to calculate pension accumulation, as it is my own employment pension company. The goal of my retirement age is a depressing 70 years. The amount of the pension in relation to the length of a possible career is not very good, but it would do well I work as a career coach, so I’m familiar with the services of retirement pension companies and things related to retirement. In the assignment, the guideline is to look at how much I could get a pension at age 63. Well the answer is nothing. My minimum retirement age is 67 years and 4 months. People’s life expectancy is rising all the time, so it is understandable that the retirement age will also be raised. On the other hand, people are getting sick when they are old.I don’t want to work until I turn 70, so I’ve started saving for retirement so I can retire while I can still enjoy life.I’m not saying over 70s couldn’t enjoy life, but the risk of illness increases as you get older and I have a lot of family burdens.

Service/application

My clients have to use a lot of Public employment and business services and in their website is E-service which you can log in to your own pages. On its own pages you can e.g. register as a job seeker, update your own job search information as well as your job search plan. Through the website, you can also communicate with the clerk and send e.g. attachments. The Te Services website also contains information on job vacancies, training, salary support, business services, career guidance, and unemployment security. The e-service is convenient and all the information related to your job search can be found there.
