I work as a production coordinator and HR assistant in the food industry. I belong to several different teams, some of the teams are decentralized to different locations and that’s why we don’t see face-to-face but need digital tools for communication. The most common tools I use are the Teams application and Outlook. Teams application are used to hold meetings and communicate with others. WhatsApp is also used a lot in my production facility. Whatsapp is a great tool to reach people easily and quickly in my immediate team. Whatsapp acts as a communication channel, for example, in relation to security observations. I also use some LinkedIn, and it is useful for professional networking.

Asana: I think this tool can be used in my work to schedule and manage various projects. Asana also makes resourcing easier because it allows you to see how the tasks are shared among the team members.

Todoist: Because my work is sometimes quite hectic and I do several different tasks at the same time, it is sometimes difficult to design my own work to be sensible and effective. Sometimes it is also very difficult for me to prioritize my work tasks and because of the constant interruptions, my focus on work also suffers. So, I think that with Todoist I would be able to plan my work much better than I do now.

iAuditor: Many different reports are produced in my work, including those related to productivity, safety, well-being at work and quality. I believe that using the iAuditor tool would make reports easier to make and reduce manual work.

Open Badges: There is the learning management system in my workplace, and I am the main user of this system. Open badgets would be a good addition to our learning management system because it makes it possible to identify learning and it also contains detailed information about the achievement.

Issuu: In my work as an HR assistant, orientation is one of the most important aspects of HR work. Good orientation plays a big role in the formation of employee experience. So Issuu tool could be used to create orientation material. This introductory material could be sent to new employees before their work start.
